The history

This family owned threshing floor used to operate as the major spot of its kind in the Mani region. As it was strategically situated next to the village's then harbour, it used to serve  all the inhabitants of the greater Kardamyli area and the surrounding villages.

The exact date of the origins of the floor is unknown, but we are aware that there were adjacent at least 4 more buildings who were used as stock docks. It ceased to operate circa 1970.
